The claim for Rothschild has been sent to the Procurator (last Friday) for formal lodging with the Malaga Mercantile Courts.
Missing documents pertaining to claimants (Powers of Attorney or Mortgage Deeds) can be added in the next few days.
On receipt of the stamped copy, we will be post the contents (except for personal data) on this website.
Good morning everyone
Over the last week or so I have been in the company of a number of visitors from the U.K. who also bought into the Rothschild scam at the same time that I did. (Some really sad stories).
The big question on everybody’s lips was “What about compensation” should the case against Rothschild be won?
I had no answer as I have no information?
Can anybody help?
Cheers
Gerrya
It really is a tough one to answer, the court is the only one that can rule on compensation. Our belief is that everyone should be put back in the same position as they were prior to entering into the contract. Perhaps your lawyer can give you a better idea.
Quite apart from our valuation fees and legal costs, if we are not compensated for the amount of cash-back we received, we will have to sell our houses to repay it. Hardly in the position we were in before we were scammed ?
Hi Sonmaties
It appears that my friends definitely agree with your thoughts. They are literally flat broke and will be unable to repay any of the cash advance made by Rothschild or the Valuation fees charged, unless they are forced to sell their homes, What then?
Strangely they also all seem to agree that the amount they were advanced by Rothschild amounted to almost exactly the same amount that they were charged for the administration and setup of the scheme, so basically they received nothing?
Anyway it appears there is not much they can do but hope and prey? Me too?
Regards
Gerrya
