SPAIRS , the Spanish Property and Income Release Scheme, concocted initially by Charles Walton, from Premier Group, and later adopted by greedy banks and rogue IFAs such as Henry Woods, caused extensive havoc. 
Reading the attached article, it compares well with that of Dewsnip, from Rothschild (published on the post of the 6th December) , from which it has taken full inspiration; in fact, we think that either party should take action for plagiarism.
We have seen a great deal of activity on this site in the past week or so, thanks to our association, their lawyers Lawbird Legal Services, Marbella. It is apparent that much evidence is being discovered and perhaps it won’t be long before Snr. Antonio Flores and his team issue more proceedings against the offending banks. Thanks to them all, we as victims have some hope where 12 months ago we had none. It really is comforting to see so much activity and so many members contributing to these posts, ar least we know we are not alone.
We were courted by the Henry Woods guys and very nearly signed up with their scheme…until that is we were told by Nordea that the Woods scheme was very risky and they (Nordea) provided a much better scheme with far better investment returns and no risk to us!! All conmen – only interested in their own gains.

Well sai Bruford. We have much to be thankful for. I have searched the internet for weeks and cannot find a similar site where we can exchange ideas. The only one that comes close that reports on equity release is ice blog. This is an Iceland site by some journalist called Sigrun something or other. In fact I will look it up and post the details after this comment.

Has anybody had any success at communicating with Snr Salvador Martinez-Echevarria of Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo? After receiving an email back in March 2011 from them extolling their expertise and commitment we arranged to have our documents transfered from the IURA practice to Cremades believing they were preparing a class action in respect the mis-selling of Equity Release by Henry Woods.In May 2012 the Power of Attorney was requested by Cremades.We then received an email in July 2012 confirming that a Snr. Martinez-Echevarria was filing individual claims against SLM and the financial advisors involved. But since then we have had no further correspondence despite sending them numerous emails and making a number of phone calls.Where should we turn now?
We have the exact same problem. He contacted us in September 2011 and we have since paid a considerable amount of money for our case to be prepared and have since heard nothing. Our case is also against SLM. I know there are others with Salvador who visit this site. Is there something which we could do collectively? ERVA are making so much progress I just don’t want to be left behind.
