Early this week, ERVA had lunch with a Malaga-based lawyer. The professional (cannot be named), who has taken a serious interest in the Equity Release scam, discussed with ERVA members prior investigations into the dealings of the husband of Mrs. Angeles Muñoz, Lars Broberg, notably how a company owned by both benefited from a political decision: the modification of the boundary-line separating the municipalities of between Benahavis and Marbella.
As a result of this wheeling and dealing, the couple ended up dramatically increasing the value of their land.
Now you may ask what does this have to do with Equity Release and Nordea Bank S.A.?

Well Erva I hope you have got your facts right, if not you may be in line for a little court time in the way of defamation, if that is the correct term to use. If you can back this up with hard facts, there could be a huge National scandal brewing. I think we know by now that Erva would not post anything like this unless they had the evidence, certainly their lawyers would not allow it. Could you please do the follow up post soon, this I am really looking forward to.
Thanks for you concerns Berty. We will say, as we have done so in the past, we never post any story that we cannot back up with evidence. All our draft stories are first vetted by our lawyers at Lawbird Legal Services, who review the evidence at hand before they give their blessing to publish. You will have noticed in the past that we have posted many stories for a variety of banks and individuals, which one might construe as “sailing close to the wind”. Not once have we been asked by any bank or individual, through their lawyers for us to retract the story, or we will face prosecution. Now does that not strike you as rather strange. You can draw your own conclusions as we do. Bear in mind the Chairman of Erva (Euan Armstrong) is responsible for the criminal complaint against Danske Bank in the Fuengirola Criminal Court. He is not in the slightest concerned, nor our lawyers of defending any action any bank or individual should they sue Erva.
